Provider Agreement

InstantBook is a software platform that helps you publish a booking page, collect deposits and payments through Stripe, and manage your schedule and clients. InstantBook is not a party to the agreement between you and your clients, is not a payment processor, and does not provide the underlying services you sell.

Payments from your clients are processed by Stripe and paid directly to your connected Stripe account. You are the merchant of record for every transaction. InstantBook does not hold, escrow, or take custody of your funds. Standard Stripe processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 CAD per transaction) apply and are deducted by Stripe. InstantBook charges no commission on your bookings.

• Provide your services lawfully, safely, and as described on your booking page.
• Hold any licenses, certifications, registrations, or insurance required for your trade and jurisdiction.
• Collect and remit all applicable taxes (including GST/HST) on the services you sell.
• Honour the deposit, cancellation, and refund policies you publish to clients.
• Handle client personal information responsibly and in line with applicable privacy law.
• Keep your account credentials secure and your business information accurate.

You set your own deposit amounts and cancellation/refund policy. Refunds and chargeback disputes are handled through Stripe against your connected account. You are responsible for resolving disputes with your clients. InstantBook may surface dispute and refund status to help you manage bookings but is not liable for the outcome.

Provider verification is an optional trust feature offered at no charge. Completing the verification checklist and receiving admin approval lets you display a Verified badge. Verification reflects that certain checks were completed; it is not a guarantee of your services, conduct, or outcomes, and InstantBook may revoke a badge at any time.

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm clients, or create legal or payment risk. Your data is retained for 90 days after termination unless deletion is requested.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and may be cancelled anytime from your dashboard. See the pricing page for current plans and limits. We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice.

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstantBook is not liable for lost profits or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or your dealings with clients.
